Up to five cash prizes will be awarded in every age group. The jury reserves the right not to award individual prizes or to split prizes.

Participation in this special competition is voluntary.
The mandatory program for age group II has be played in any case, and the time limit for the entire performance (17 to 20 minutes) will not be extended when you compete for this prize.
For age group III, the well-known German guitar atelier Ernst Dering from Lage is donating a high-quality concert guitar worth around € 5.000.
In addition to the cash prizes, the jury will award scholarships to international festivals and concerts; e.g.: a concert at the Forum Gitarre Wien 2026, a concert also awarded by the Förderverein Kulturgut Franziskaner Kloster e.V. in Warendorf i.W. in 2026. We will inform you about further concerts here.
